Highly Controversial Marc Gartman Chocolate and Cheese Ween poster revealed!

I ran into Marc Gartman last night, who had this item hot off Miss Zoey Cohen’s drawing pad.

Although I audibly groaned to myself at every stage of the Ween cover art controversy (starting with “Ween … and you?,” continuing with “Sex and Rock and Roll,” and finally dragging to a temporary halt with “This is what a feminist looks like“) I now personally endorse as much disagreement and debate about this as possible.

  1. I’m so outraged with Marc Gartman and his treatment of the male body. How dare he flaunt such a perfect male specimen? It’s degrading! Hairy Jewish men have fought too hard and too long for a place on poster art…. And I’m turned on… I mean disgusted… Oh, I’m so confused? Hahahahahahahave a great day. Look forward to the show. Never understood what all the fuss was aboot?

  2. Ok .. I get up and quick check PDD and am confronted with THIS! I’m strangely repulsed and attracted to that line of body hair down his mid-section. This is wrong and right on so many, and not enough, levels. This abject objectification of banjo players has left me saddened and reinvigorated.

  3. Imagine my dismay to open up PDD this morning and to be immediately confronted by two gigantic….banjos. I just about lost my breakfast.

  4. I, for one, hope to hang out in the Marc Gartvan with the Marc Gartband, sipping on a Maker’s Marc Gartman.

  5. Paul, controversy is all we have man. You take that away and what is there? Look at all the passion and discourse that came out during those seminal posts, back when. I don’t even log on anymore, so controversy free is PDD these days.

  6. We want to see a picture…. a drawing does not do it for us. About time the male body is objectified. My greatest wish is that Gartman wears that little sexy cut off shirt on the 30th.
