I’ve always thought the old Central School downtown would be an awesome indoor market. Similar to the World Market in Minneapolis, people could have small stands showcasing food/crafts/services. It’d be a great spot for diverse emerging entrepreneurs. Think of it like a year-round farmers market in a city that experiences eight months of winter. I don’t know, maybe I’m crazy. Let me know what you think. Viva la Duluth

I think it’s genius if the plumbing can be adequately remodeled for this purpose.
I have thought the library would be a great indoor market ever since the poor report on its energy efficiency. You wouldn’t need as much heat efficiency for an open indoor market, and with the access, parking, etc. could be a nice fit. Perhaps then the library could move to Central.
I’m on board with Shane. I think Central as a public library and school district administration office is probably its best use.
