When this subject came up on PDD two years ago the suggestions were:
Superior Business Center
Whole Foods Co-op
Pilgrim Congregational Church
Superior Business Center has a pretty extensive kitchen.
The Superior Business Center is pretty ideal for this purpose, but you might try the other suggestions Paul gave as well.
I have tried Pilgrim Congregational Church and they weren’t interested in setting up a rental agreement. I have also tried Superior Business Center and their kitchen does not allow unprocessed meat products at this time, I will look into Whole Foods now. Thanks for the suggestions!
I know that Hacienda del Sol is unused as for now, it might work out for short term. Also, the Owls Club has a commercial kitchen. Whether either of those places would be interested, I do not know.
Whole Food is a no go, they have a kitchen but it is not a commercial kitchen. I will try your suggestions, Bryan. Thanks everyone!
St. Louis County Public Health used to keep a list of commercial kitchens (I believe they are responsible for licensing); you could check with them.
Great suggestion wildknits! Thank you so much!
When I was looking for a commercial kitchen the options were limited, or not interested in allowing us to rent their space. The best option was the Superior Business Center.
