Trampled by Turtles are releasing their new album, Wild Animals, on July 15. The album was produced by Duluth’s own Alan Sparhawk of Low and recorded at Pachyderm Studios in Cannon Falls. Check out the first single, “Are You Behind the Shining Star?,” below. TBT will be missed at Homegrown this year.

I think it’s awesome you were able to announce the arrival of this Cory, but can we have another word for when someone releases an album? ‘Drops’ is so 2010. Maybe ‘ploop’ is it? Has kind of a dropping into water and making a splash sound. “My album will ploop on 4/20…”
Or how about, ‘my infectious album will inoculate the public on said date.’ It has to sound hip enough for 2015 kid and cant be longer than five syllables. When is your album going to implode?
