I have three coming over for Thanksgiving, including a conservative brother in law. Here’s what I have so far: comedy at Dubh Linn, Karpeles Manuscript Museum, Duluth Art Institute and Bentleyville. Hockey game? For the girls: pedicures, possible drag show? I have lots of fun eating places lined up; may need more other stuff. I know — we can sit around and play cards and board games, too.

I recommend a combination of snowshoeing, Target and drinking heavily.
Check out the train museum … maybe take a train ride.
Does it have to be indoor stuff? I’d say a hike in one of the parks. I find guests from out of town like to go to Trailfitters, but I don’t know about your brother in law.
There is a new menu at Clyde Iron Works — it’s always interesting for visitors to learn the history, kids love the bocce and chess. And the Fractals (there at 9:30) are a very talented and fun, local band that appeals to everyone.
Glensheen is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
