But I was way too sick over the last week to do anything other than lay in my Bed of Pain with a thermometer in my mouth, gesturing vaguely at the iPad screen, while my so-called Best Dog Friend sat there on my bed and stared at me. And stared. And stared. In order “to remind me” that we hadn’t had our morning/evening walkies yet.
I really could have been a contenda, is all I’m saying.
I grew up a few blocks from there it it was always simply referred to as “Holy Rosary.” Of course all my snarky friends and I called it “Holy Hell Hole.”
