When I lived in Duluth (I moved away last August) I moved because of a job opportunity. They had to make special allowances for me because I didn’t have my driver’s license yet! As a young adult living in Duluth I never felt the need for one…I lived 2 blocks from the lakewalk, less than a block from the bus stop, and downtown was a 15 minute walk. Now that I live out in the boonies it’s been a rude awakening. I felt like Duluth did pretty well as far as the bus system and acceptance of pedestrians. With how they cross the street downtown I’m surprised more of us don’t/didn’t get hit.
