Burrito Union – half price bottles on Tuesdays. I may be mistaken but I think the same applies at the Brewhouse.
Zeitgeist Arts Cafe has half price wine on Thursdays.
I’m not sure about Zeitgiest or the Brewhouse, but if you want to take a break from gentrification, try the Lake Superior Bottle Shop on 1st and 1st. They have have Boone Farm for sale at rock bottom prices every day, not just Tuesdays. Low on cash? Try asking for spare change outside the casino. It’s only a 5 minute walk.
While I’m thinking of it, here’s a little interior design advice for you, too.
I forgot to add that they open at 8 am, just in case Tuesday stretches into Wednesday as I know it sometimes can.

Va Bene used to do a weekday wine special. I called just now and asked them whether they still do, and the guy who answered the phone said they don’t but they’re going to start a new deal where you can get half-price bottles Mon-Thursday. But he couldn’t tell me when that would start. He suggested getting on their email list.

There is a wine tasting (free) at Wine Beginnings, 1705 Tower Ave., Thursday November 3, 2011 for a “Girls just wanna have fun” event. It is from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and the wine is wonderful !
