Missing Dog in Lakeside

Our dog escaped this morning in the area of 43rd and Superior St.  He has a red collar with no tags (yeah, yeah, I know) and his name is Buddy.  He’s very friendly and very sweet.  Short and fat like a basset.

If you see him, please call us at 5two5-three9three0. Thanks.

  1. You may have already done this, but you might want to also post this on craigslist, petfinder, and call Animal Allies, who can give you more information on what to do.

  2. I used to have basset hounds. No joke, when they escaped a few times, they’d head downhill. I’ll keep my eyes open for Buddy!

  3. He’s home! He’s home! A kind soul found him, put him up for the night and generally was awesome to him. Thanks to everyone who kept an eye out.

  4. Great! Now, get him a tag with his name and your phone number. They sell them up at Petco. He seems too nice to lose again!

  5. Ordered the tags last night. We’ll make sure that doesn’t happen again. Thanks again to everyone who looked for him–he had quite the little vacation. And thanks to anyone who picks up a stray and seeks its owner. You make their human parents & siblings very happy.

  6. Just thought I’d let you know my girls and I were meeting some friends at the 43rd Avenue East park when they showed up walking with your dog. Apparently, he followed them from the Lakewalk. Your dog was in good hands for that 1+ hour when we all (kids included!) were petting him trying to see if he had a tag. He seemed to really enjoy the park with all the kids! Glad to hear he made it home safely.

  7. Glad you guys had fun with him. That explains why he’s done nothing but sleep on the couch since he got home–sounds like he had quite the little adventure in the neighborhood!

Duluth is a nice place. I like it.
