The corn analysis made me think of this right away and had to share based on the corn comments. If you haven’t seen this already, it’s worth watching through. In addition to the experiment results, Elise’s scripted narration and awkward pauses are fantastic. She’s not from Duluth, but is from Minnesota and really likes our town.

Please join the American Cancer Society and the relay teams at this year’s Duluth Relay for Life at Bayfront Park on Friday, July 22.  In addition to the events listed below, there will be food, a silent auction and fun for all ages!  All of the profit supports the American Cancer Society.

  • 5:30-6pm:  Elite Dance
  • 6:15pm-7:45: Opening Ceremonies; Jessica Myshack will perform The National Anthem
  • 8-9pm: Mynx
  • 9:15-10pm: Luminaria lighting & Ceremony
  • 11pm-11:30pm: Fight Back Ceremony
  • 12-12:30am: Midnight Zumba
  • 12:30-1am: Music & Dancing
  • 1-1:30am: Mr/ Miss Relay Pageant Performances
  • 1:30-2:30am: Comedy performances by stand-up comedians (thanks to  Dubh Linn’s Comedy)
  • 5:00-5:30am: Restorative Yoga with Joe Lindgren & Yoga North
  • 6:00am: Closing Ceremonies & final celebration lap
