The Duluth News Tribune is reporting that Northland’s NewsCenter meteorologist George Kessler is leaving Duluth for the state of Virginia.
This follows the previously announced career change of Eyewitness News‘ Sandy Drag and retirement of Dennis Anderson.

Sandy Drag is an icon? Yeah, she’s a great news reader…but an icon?

I can’t believe he’s leaving AGAIN. I love that guy. (Nerd that I am.)
Working in small-market broadcast news is never fun, unless you are an Uncle Denny. On top of that, the pay is not what it used to be.
I guess I wasn’t a notable TV departure. Tear. Oh well, Boise, Idaho isn’t as cold as Duluth.
