I still have one nagging question that came up during the campaign: “Can you get good Malaysian food anywhere near Duluth?”
Anyone have an answer?

I haven’t been able to locate truly good food of any variety whatsoever in Duluth. Therefore, the answer is definitely “no.”
Yes, there is great Malaysian food in a town a little to the south of Duluth. I believe it is called Minneapolis.
Used to be a great Malaysian place in Maplewood of all places. Think it closed, though.
And Mark, are you kidding me, there are some excellent restaurants around here: for instance, Hanabi is in my opinion the best Japanese restaurant in Minnesota. Even better than Origami in a lot of ways.
I asked a Malaysian co-worker if she knew of any: other than her kitchen, she did not know of any place that was Malaysian (but did recommend Jade Fountain and Thai Krathong).
What’s the new place in Superior?
