We were there for drinks and apps last night. Great food, great wine for the price, but the service was a bit slow. The view, the view, though, made up for it, especially being able to view Bentleyville from above.
The tempura shrimp app was yummy.

I plan on going there this week. I was wondering, what are peoples opinions regarding JJ Astor, Nokomis, Scenic Cafe, Midi, 301 or whatever?
For me, Nokomis is tops, followed by the Scenic, but the others are good too (and, as implied, I haven’t been to JJ Astor yet).

I love New Scenic best, I think, though it’s a schlep so we don’t go there too often. Loved 301 when Bob Bennett was their chef, the pasta puttanesca was incredible. It’s been hit or miss with me at Nokomis. And Chester Creek is practically my dining room.

+1 for the Scenic as the tops in our area. Nokomis is decent but ambience lacks IMHO
