I am looking for recommendations for a good contractor/company to put on roofing and siding on my mother’s house in Duluth Heights. She has had two bids (Miller and William K) but I’d really appreciate some insight from the PDD community. Thank you!

I had Jamie @ Northern Trends put a new roof on my house last summer. Good guy, no surprises, and cleaned up after themselves.
I had some minor roof repair done earlier this year by Empire Roofing, and I highly recommend them. Very courteous and professional, and ended up charging me LESS than what they originally quoted.
I also had some minor roof work done by Miller last year, and thought the guy who did the work was sulky and rude, and for what he did it seemed overpriced.
I’d add K&K Roofing to your list. Good work, reasonably priced.
Good suggestions so far! I’m also in the market for someone to do some Roofing and Siding work. I’d love to see some more recommendations.

I would very highly recommend Heartwood Construction. Lonny Anderson is a very good person to work with. He explains everything, is fair, thorough, and his crews are very neat and clean. We had them replace our roof last winter and I was impressed at how quickly and neatly the job was done, right down to raking up all the debris from the yard. They also have done interior finishing work for us and did an excellent job.

Just had Northern Trends replace a window for me. It took them longer than they expected thanks to matching an old house and a new window, but I wasn’t charged a dime extra. (I think I saved $10 actually)
Scott Didrikson Construction did our roof. Great rates, professional, cleaned up afterwards.
Agreed on Northern Trends. Thorough. Professional. They communicate well throughout the process.
I don’t know about a roof, cause I have done roofs myself, but for siding, I would recommend, ABC Seamless. Their seamless steel siding looks great, and they do a great job. They aren’t some fly-by-night company, they have been around for a while. I really would look into them.
I read a story about a roofing company that scammed people. Just be careful!
