Free Comic Book Day 2010

What is Free Comic Book Day?

Free Comic Book Day is a single day – the first Saturday in May each year – when participating comic book shops across North America and around the world give away comic books absolutely free* to anyone who comes into their stores. *Check with your local shop for its participation and rules.

Northeastern Minnesota Book Awards

Winners will be announced during a Sunday afternoon celebration, 1:30 to 5 p.m., UMD Kirby Ballroom, on May 16. Enjoy the reception, book fair, nominated author readings, featured speaker Beatrice Ojakangas, and the presentation of awards. Program begins at 3:30 p.m. Barton Sutter will emcee. Danecdote Live – April 28

So I noticed after posting many a flyer around town that some people just didn’t like them, and proceeded to tear them down. Go figure. Anyways, this is my last ditch effort to get the people of Duluth down to the Rex tonight. I promise lots of fun and plenty of dancing opportunities.
