Just got back from the new book store in the old Seventh Day Adventist Church on 14th East and Superior St. They have nice books and lots of ’em and they’re still expanding into the basement.

new books? used books? tell us!
Used. The owner of one of the antique stores downtown opened it.
Yes, USED books and antique furniture in a spacious setting. Not just a bunch of old pulp novels either. Good stuff.
AWESOME. I saw the sign go up last week and can’t wait to check ’em out.
Does anybody know anything about the new Lakewalk Books (I think that’s the name?) on London Road and 15th? Drove by that sign too but didn’t get a chance to go inside yet. But it’s pretty rockin’ to have two new bookstores open up. I’m still mourning the loss of Sunhillow and Books Bound and the original Carlson’s…
i like the sign “BOOKS” on the front of the building.
makes me want a sign for my house.
I’m torn between one that says
“MAYONNAISE”
and one that says
“Maison d’Raisin.”
I saw the guy working outside there last week, that was the first time i realize someone was moving in. I’m excited to check it out! I live by Amazing Alonzo, and despite my best intentions to go there all the time, I still have never been!
OMG. I am always drowning in books, happy to have some places to palm them off.
TONS of great books at this place. I was VERY impressed. The prices were outstanding and we got a pile of books. Hands off the oak desk organizer; I’m coming back to pick that up someday.
