Cold weather experiments

I don’t want to see our area children suffer from a lack of knowledge today with no school and am hoping parents or day care workers send them outside for cold weather experiments and share them on PDD. But be careful.

I was the beneficiary of someone’s cold weather experiment today. When I parked at a Downtown Duluth meter I found there was a quarter frozen into the slot, so I couldn’t pay.

I asked a nearby police officer about it and he said “I think you’ll be O.K.” So, free parking when it’s cold! Lick those quarters, Duluthians!

  2. When I was going into Midi yesterday at 5pm, I knew there wouldn’t be any meter maids out in the minus stuff, so I saved a quarter and had a nice fantasy about arguing with the judge. Mind you I was also the only one who ran out to the Superior Lighthouse yesterday, and it was very beautiful. I wanted to get a picture of the rainbow mist to verily one-up Lundgren’s photo, by showing you people what winter rainbows look like, but alas…

Some dirty c-suckers apparently hauled a television all the way out there and smashed it on the rocks. I had to ponder the mental state of these folks for a second or two. Meth. I’m saving hauling it back for another day. If one of you beats me to it, that’s okay. I’ve got this winter dressing program down. Too bad it’ll all be over in six weeks. Thanks again for not going to Midi, at all. If people knew how good it was, be so popular nobody would go there anymore.
