I am having some trouble with my 1986 Toyota pickup. I think it has something to do with the carburetor, but diagnosing the problem is beyond my limited mechanical skills. Since carburetors are not very common nowadays, I’m not sure where I can bring it for service/beta in Duluth. Know any good carb shops in Duluth? Or grumpy old men who fix things?

Grumpy old man, c’est moi. In 1976 I rebuilt the carb of my Grandma Susie’s ’54 Plymouth Savoy. Now I take everything to Automedics.
Dude. Dude. Dude. Dude.
I’m a huge Toyota truck enthusiast. I have a 93 Toyota pickup that’s been my project for the last year+. If I ever have something that I can’t figure out on my own, I take it to Jamie (I forget his last name) up on West Tischer Road. He is a total Toyota nut and knows everything about them. His number is 391-9408. He’s very on top of his repairs and I’ve only gotten my vehicle back as fast as he can. Highly recommended.
I’ll have to give him a ring.. thanks!
