I forgot to mark my calendar, but yesterday was Trampled by Turtles Day in both Duluth and Minneapolis. Here’s Don and RT Rybak crowd surfing at First Ave last night after making the proclamation.

RT tried to do a stage dive back when First Avenue closed briefly, (because of a hostile takeover within management) and when it reopened with Gwar they said no. After that he’s been giving bands “days” so he can jump off of a stage.
A mayor who will stage dive, that’s a good thing.
