This 120ish-year-old postcard shows the Duluth Harbor South Breakwater Outer Light on the Canal Park side of the Duluth Shipping Canal during a storm.
The message on the front of the card reads:
I am a little girl 12 years old and would like to exchange postal cards with you. Address: 1024 E. 1st, Duluth Minn U.S.A.
Margaret McKindley.
Little Miss McKindley’s address, 1024 E. First St., is presently the location of a parking ramp on the Aspirus St. Luke’s health system campus.
An unmarked and less-faded version of the postcard appears below.

She was born in 1893, so the postcard would be from 1905.
And here’s a picture of her from Ancestry.com.
Circles.
Great find HBH. This was before the days of “Divided back” postcards in 1907, so she wrote her info on the front with the image.
