Classic rocker Eddie Money performs a free concert this evening at outside Fond-du-Luth Casino. Duluth gets a shout out at the :35 second mark in the video for “We Should be Sleeping.”

  1. I was there. I remember one of his daughters playing with barbie dolls on the stage way before the concert started. I wish the fair would bring back bands like that. I saw 38 Special there … Loverboy … and yes I remember Eddie Money feeling no pain that night.

  3. My cousin told me that Eddie Money once asked him if he had any pot while they were peeing next to each other before one of his shows at the Cove.

    Survivor played there this summer. I’d put them in the same class as Loverboy and .38 Special.

    Blue Oyster Cult played there a few years ago (’07, I think). So did the Little River Band. I think they still have the same kinds of bands they always have.

  5. Eddie Money used to be so young, so hot. Now he’s just a middle-aged guy from Long Island. But it was a fun show. Some of the people I was hanging with thought he’d had a few drinks before the show.
