Park Point is a no-no. They don’t allow them there.
Wisconsin point is much more bonfire-friendly. Another alternative is the Knife River beach, which is about 15 minutes up the shore. Lots of driftwood to be burned there.

Fires must be more than 10 feet from any plant life, and motor vehicle traffic is restricted after 11:00 PM.

I would call the City of Superior Parks & Rec Department – as they have had some of the roads down there blocked off for reconstruction, and some areas of the beaches locally were blocked off to try to conserve the natural piping plover habitat. I don’t know the status of either of those initiatives currently.
And please, as with any beach, bring trash bags with you and pack out what you pack in. Garbage receptacles will not be available.
As RAE said, there are rules at Wisconsin point. Those same rules should be followed at Knife River beach as well and yes it is OK to have a fire at Knife River beach as long as it is within reason.
